Forrestfield Physiotherapy (formerly Mead Physio Group Forrestfield) has been servicing the Perth foothills for 30 years. The newly rebranded clinic has a strong focus on providing the highest quality Physiotherapy service available. 

We offer a caring environment and are passionate about helping you achieve your goals, whether that be reducing pain, increasing function or restoring mobility. 

From your first appointment, the experienced Physios at Forrestfield Physiotherapy will provide you with evidence-based treatment, and offer you a range of Physiotherapy techniques, education and rehabilitation to ensure you have a speedy recovery. 

At Forrestfield Physiotherapy we offer private treatment rooms, and longer appointments than many clinics to help ensure you are getting the most effective treatment, tailored to you. 

We offer appointments for private patients, with private health insurance claiming available on the day. We also offer care plan appointments, workers compensation, motor vehicle accident claims and DVA appointments.

Physiotherapist Dean Nelson Forrestfield Perth

Dean Nelson

Director/ Physiotherapist

Dean completed his studies in both Exercise and Sports Science and his Master of Physiotherapy.

Dean has worked in private practice for ten years, treating a variety of patients ranging from sporting injuries to workplace injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Dean has developed a special interest in knee and ankle injuries and sports specific rehabilitation. He also uses Dry Needling to assist in the treatment of his patients and has a special interest in the treatment and management of Vertigo.

Dean has played high-level cricket and football for many years. He also loves fishing, camping and spending time with his young family.

 
Physiotherapist Emma Nelson Forrestfield Perth

Emma Nelson

Director/ Physiotherapist

  • Emma is currently on Maternity Leave

Emma graduated from Charles Sturt University in NSW in 2010. She has over ten years experience working in Private Practice and has also completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy. 

Emma has worked with several elite level sporting clubs including State League Netball and WAFL, and has taught clinical pilates for several years. As well as sporting injuries, Emma enjoys treating a wide variety of patients with both manual therapy and exercise based rehabilitation. 

Matt Connolly

Physiotherapist

Matt completed his Physiotherapy studies at the University of Notre Dame and has worked in private practice ever since.

Matt uses hands on therapy, including dry needling, and exercise-based rehab to treat a variety of sporting and work based injuries. He also believes understanding of a condition is an important part of recovery, so enjoys sharing his knowledge with his clients.

Outside of clinic hours, you’ll find Matt playing sport, or enjoying the great outdoors with his partner and young Border Collie Stevie.

Adam Hammond

Physiotherapist

Adam is a motivated Physiotherapist who graduated from Curtin University with a Physiotherapy Bachelors degree.

Adam has a keen interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation after many years of playing sport himself. He has experience working with athletes of various levels and backgrounds as well as providing Physiotherapy services to clients of all ages, through both manual therapy and exercise based treatments.

Adam is passionate about helping patients to achieve their goals and loves to see his patients succeed.

Outside of work, Adam can be found playing Soccer, at the beach with his dog, or enjoying time with mates.
